Short version

Your files never leave your browser. We store the bare minimum needed to run accounts and subscriptions. We do not sell data.

What we don't collect

The contents of files you convert (everything runs locally via WASM)
File names
Detailed device fingerprints

What we do collect

Account: your email address (via Supabase Auth) when you sign in
Conversion counts: per-account count, type (e.g. md_pdf), and input/output sizes — used to show your history. No file content.
Subscription state: tier (free/pro), renewal date, source (LS or ad-grant). Stored in Supabase.
Anonymous quota:a count in your browser's localStorage that tracks free conversions used today. Never sent to a server.
Analytics: Vercel Analytics counts page views with no cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Third-party services

Supabase — Auth + database (US/EU regions)
LemonSqueezy — payment processor (Merchant of Record). Handles cards, taxes, invoices. See their privacy policy.
Google AdSense— shows ads to free users. AdSense may use cookies for ad personalization per Google's policies. Pro users see no ads and no AdSense scripts load.
Vercel — hosting + analytics

Mobile app (Android)

The Convertify Android app loads this same service in a secure WebView. The following applies specifically to the app:

Files you convertare processed solely to perform the conversion you request and are saved to your device's Documents folder. We do not upload, sell, share, or retain them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)— the free tier shows ads via AdMob. AdMob may collect and process data, including your device's advertising identifier, to serve and measure ads, governed by Google's privacy policy. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. Pro users see no ads.
Permissions — storage/media access is requested only to read files you choose to convert and to save converted output. Internet access is required to load the service and serve ads.
Security — all data transmitted by the app is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Children — Convertify is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (signed-in session) and Cloudflare/Vercel functional cookies. AdSense may set its own cookies for free users.

Your rights

Delete your account and all associated data anytime by emailing support@getconvertify.me. We delete the row in our database; LemonSqueezy retains billing records as required by tax law.
